Kolgen presents a video version of a musical piece by Setve Reich. Different trains written in 1988  for a string quartet along with magnetic tapes. Sixteen musicians will interpret a work in perfect symbiosis along with stunning images by Kolgen. The public will participate on the stage with the musicians in a multimedia experience immersed in a majestic spectacle.

Overlapp is a zoom-in between Different Train and Dust. It’s an urban  impressionistic vision focusing on microscopic particules. “In 2010 during my stay in Asia when Korea was hit by typhon, I was able to film these images that became the source for the video”. The City was engulfed in suspended dust.

DUST /

Inspired by 1920 marcel duchamp + man ray’s photograph “élevage de poussière”, dust explores changes in the state of matter. Thus, at the turning point between the invisible and the visible, dust becomes intoxicating and the video surface a veritable accumulation of x-rays.
