DUST RESTRICTION > CINEMATEQUE
Using microscopic and macroscopic video surfaces, Montreal artist Herman Kolgen creates an intimate link with dust aggregates in perpetual movement. Derived from the performance DUST and of his installations featuring dust accumulations, the immersive installation DUST RESTRICTION allows the viewer to perceive and hear dust on immense scale. The DUST project was initially inspired by the work Élevage de poussières, the 1920 photograph by Man Ray and Marcel Duchamp.
